My name is Andy Hnilo, I am 32 years old and live in Los Angeles, CA. As a lifetime athlete, I excelled in baseball and football. Earned a baseball scholarship to UC Berkeley and turned down an opportunity to play professional baseball when I landed a role on daytime soap opera, “Days of our Lives.” Since then I've kept very busy with modeling and acting - most recently appearing on HBO’s “Hello Ladies.” Walked the runway for numerous clothing companies such as Calvin Klein, Levi's, Oakley, Speedo, and have shot over a dozen national commercials for companies like Michelob Ultra, Geico, Nike, Mizuno and most recently Coppertone. After getting hit and run over by two SUV’s, I thought my career may be over. However through nutrition and relentless hard work, I found myself in better shape physically and mentally because of it, working more than ever before.
As an ex-athlete and model, I have always valued the importance of taking care of my body both internally and externally. However it wasn’t until after being involved in a serious car accident that I began to explore making my own skincare products and taking nutrition to the next level. My surgeons insisted that I use crèmes and serums that were loaded with synthetic ingredients and fragrances that I felt were counterproductive in the healing process. So I began to research all natural healing alternatives.
Through my research I decided to make my own facial treatment mask that would not only leave you with radiant skin on the outside but it would heal and detoxify you from the inside as well. I use the Alitura Clay Mask once a week and love the results on my aging skin. It just feels so alive after the mask. I do use the ACV because I like the intensity of it. I was skeptical at first as every single clay-based mask I've EVER tried has dried out my skin. I assumed my skin was just too sensitive to handle the intense pore-cleansing properties of clay. However, after using Andy's mask for the first time my face didn't feel dry, at all. I thought it was a one-time miracle, must be a fluke...but after two months of twice weekly usage I've found it's no fluke. Not only does this mask deep clean my pores, but the tone of my skin is much more even and radiant and my monthly breakouts have significantly lessened in severity and duration. I mix it with organic milk (moisturizing and skin-lightening) and tone afterwards with a half water, half ACV spritzer. There's a reason every single review gives this mask 5 stars. It's not your ordinary clay mask--it's amazing!
