"Shu Chu 15" is the best Ginseng grown from seed in China. These roots are grown from extremely potent wild stock seed in semi-wild Ginseng gardens in the famed and remote Shu Chu Valley . Shu Chu roots are a mild variety of red Ginseng. They are steamed and dried, and as a result of this process, they are rich in potent red Ginseng ginsenosides, including Rg3 and Rb1, among others.
South Korean Heaven Grade Ginseng (Red Panax Ginseng): Extremely highly regarded, South Korean Ginseng that is certified by the Ministry of Health is of extremely high quality. These naturally processed red roots are rich in ginsenosides, some of which are not found in wild Ginseng roots. These ginsenosides arise during the process of steaming used to make the white Ginseng into red Ginseng. Some of these special ginsenosides have recently been found to have profound immune modulating activity.
North Korean Heaven Grade Ginseng (Red Panax Ginseng): For centuries, North Korean red Ginseng has been considered the best in the world. Though the Chinese and South Koreans challenge this, the fact is that no better red Ginseng exists on the planet. North Korean Red Ginseng is yang and very warm in nature. It is thus very invigorating and empowering. Heaven grade is the highest grade of Ginseng available, so North Korean Heaven Grade Red Ginseng, certified by the government, is as good as it gets in terms of cultivated Ginseng. However, it is too hot and too yang for some people, and that is why it is best to blend it with yin herbs such as American Ginseng, as we have in Ginseng Sublime. Emperor Preserved Ginseng (Red Panax Ginseng): This Ginseng acquired its name when the Emperor Kangxi of the Qing (Ching) Dynasty issued an imperial edict that all the Ginseng grown in Jingyu County (West slope of Chiangbai Mountain, Manchuria) be reserved exclusively for the use of the imperial family. It was thus grown exclusively for the Emperor of China and his family. The Emperor Preserved Ginseng is still collected from the same mountain plantations, and is processed using the most sophisticated technology. Tests by the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture proved its quality to meet or exceed that of any other Red Ginseng in the world. In 1992, when it was introduced to the world after more than 50 years, it won the gold medal at the International Exhibition of Inventions. This Ginseng is extremely rich in ginsenosides and immune modulating polysaccharides. It is believed to be especially beneficial for improving blood sugar regulation, easing fatigue, stimulating circulation in the veins and arteries and for nourishing the skin. Wild Red Reishi, because it is WILD, possesses more Shen than cultivated varieties of Reishi. Most hot-house Reishi, which is usually made from only the artificially generated mycelia, possesses little Shen, if any. No herb on earth is more capable of supporting the development of Shen than WILD Red Reishi.
Wild Red Reishi is much more difficult to analyze and quantify than cultivated Reishi. The mushrooms grow on different varieties of trees, and grow in different environments on the mountain. This variety is perhaps of special value, but it means that there is no way to standardize the product. Dragon Herbs does mix mushrooms collected from various ecological niches on Changbai Mountain, so that the wildness of the Reishi is accentuated. Furthermore, the mushrooms are of course not all of the same age. Some are “Grandfather Reishi,” some are middle aged, and some are young (though we only use mature Reishi fruiting bodies in our product). This age difference does mean that the chemical constituents in different mushrooms will be different. We, of course, consider this to be a benefit because it expands the range of phytochemicals.

Perfect for burns - refreshing water boost
This is essential in my healing toolkit. Using this for sunburns - I put pure aloe vera gel mixed with lavender essential oil+peppermint essential oil, and burn is gone fast. Peppermint essential oil has saved my skin many times. It is like an instant ice pack. Another time peppermint essential oil came to the rescue is when I had burnt sensitive skin on my neck with a hot hair straightener - it left a visible mark and hurt, so I kept applying peppermint essential oil every 10 minutes and for a few hours. That night when I got home and looked in the mirror, what looked like something that was going to leave a scar, the burn mark had vanished. This treated my burn on the spot!!! It absorbs deep into the layers of the skin to the tissues to cool them down! Peppermint essential oil works great in a drop of water bottle to keep it cool and fresh. Delicious. Great for small burns
I recently burnt myself with my curling iron. I put a dab of the Peppermint oil on the burn which instantly soothed it and I continued to put a dab on daily. The burn is healing nicely and doesn't look like it will scar. Wonderful product!

I kid not when I say it is very important to get good quality peppermint oil. Though in my experience it is actually pretty difficult to find a “bad” peppermint oil, but I surely do have a favourite. Nyishar Purple Reishi Extract is concentrated at a 1:2 ratio, meaning that one part mushroom has been macerated in two parts liquid solvent, creating a maximum potency extract. Firstly, the energy enhancing properties of Cordyceps are its most well known benefit, and this effect is almost entirely the result of cordycepin. This is a part of Cordyceps that is routinely misunderstood though, because people commonly believe that Coreyceps causes an increase in energy similarly to the way that caffeine or some other stimulant does, which is not true at all. What actually happens, is that Cordyceps increases our cellular capacity to generate energy, so we are better able to produce more energy for a lot longer. So in an attempt to better understand this process, let’s take a quick overview of exactly how cordycepin affects our energy output: every single cell in the body is powered by a nucleoside called adenosine triphosphate (ATP). The powerhouses of every cell - the mitochondria - import nutrients (carbohydrates & fats), and then through a process known as oxidative phosphorylation, these nutrients are combusted to release energy.
Electrons that are obtained from these metabolized nutrients are passed through a series of protein complexes embedded with the membrane of the mitochondria, which produces hydrogen ions that are utilized by an enzyme called ATP synthase. This intracellular process is exactly how nutrients are transformed into ATP, which is the energy currency of every single cell.
So how does Cordyceps play into all of this? Well, cordycepin directly activates an enzyme on the body called AMPK, which is responsible for regulating energy homeostasis. As the AMPK enzyme becomes increasingly activated from cordycepin, it up regulates a genetic protein called PGC-1a - the master transcription factor for mitochondrial biogenesis… but what does this mean exactly?
Well, increased activation of AMPK enzymes causes a corresponding increase in the activity of the PGC-1a protein, which ultimately causes A LOT more mitochondria to be created within the cells. In short, this means that each cell possesses a much higher capacity to generate ATP, which means more energy production. This enhanced metabolism of cellular energy also clears lactate buildup from within the bloodstream after exercise, which means faster recovery and reduced fatigue. This entire sequence of metabolic events is robustly supported by the presence of cordycepin.
This is obviously incredible news from an athletic standpoint - more energy output, more stamina and quicker recovery rate. However, this enhanced energy metabolism is useful for absolutely everyone in terms of cognitive performance (concentration and memory) and immune function etc. Mitochondria production tends to decline significantly as we age towards and beyond mid-life, so cordycepin can help to mitigate many problems associated with age-related deterioration.
Cordycepin has a substantial regulatory effect on pro-inflammatory pathways in the body too (NF-kB, TNF-a, iNOS, inflammasomes, IL-1B etc). It also stimulates the activity of endogenous antioxidant enzymes such as superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase. The combination of inflammation and antioxidant management has proven cordycepin as a valuable agent in reducing inflammation within the central nervous system, leading to it being studied as a potential treatment for neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury and depression.
Another way in which cordycepin can help to treat neurodegenerative diseases is the influence it has on various signaling pathways in the body including MAPK, mTOR and PI3K/Akt amongst others. This activity also enables cordycepin to positively affect other pathologies that are driven by these signaling pathways including certain types of cancer. Reishi Paragon has now transcended itself - it is our strongest and richest Reishi extract ever.Regenerative Cultivation MethodsFirstly we have evolved the cultivation process - initially Reishi Paragon was created from organic, wood-grown fruiting bodies which underwent a multi-step dual-extraction process to yield the resulting high potency extract powder. However, the mushrooms are now wild-simulated - from the finest quality wild strains and cultivated according to Di Tao principles.'Di Tao’ literally means ‘authentic method’ or ‘from the source’. Di Tao cannot be imitated, simply because it is unique to its geographical location, grown in conditions that simulate its native, wild environment. This means cultivating the mushrooms in the same pristine mountain forests that wild Reishi grows in. This way, the fungi are grown on the same wood from the same forest, immersed in exactly the same soil, the same symbiotic micro-organisms are present, the weather is the same, the same water irrigates the cultivated mushrooms as it does the wild specimens etc.The fruiting bodies are grown on sections of tree trunk from species of fir trees that Reishi grows on in the wild. The trees should be at least three decades old before harvesting for Reishi cultivation, and they must have come from mountain elevations of at least 1500 meters. The logs should be approximately 30cm in diameter, inoculated with wild Reishi spawn and then immersed within humus-rich soil. This way the mushroom mycelium will have an abundance of nutrients to feed upon, and produce larger, therapeutically more potent fruiting bodies. As the mushrooms mature and their medicinal potency is climaxing they are harvested, and the finest quality fruiting bodies are selected to sporulate the subsequent generation. Crop rotation is also important – Reishi should not be grown in the same place for more than two years, after which point the area needs to be naturally replenished with nutritious mulch and allowed to recover. In Di Tao cultivation there a number of growing locations so that when one of them is allowed to rest and regenerate, it can do so for many years before hosting another generation of Reishi cultivation. Not only does this ensure the richest possible growing environment, but it also promotes local biodiversity – the whole process should not take more from the land than it gives back.Dual-ExtractionOnce the mature fruiting body has been harvested it is washed to clear any residual impurities, then dried, and finally pulverised into a fine grain powder. This creates maximum surface area, making the extraction process exponentially more effective.
The mushroom powder is then added to purified water - the hot water decoction is completed inside a pressurised container, simmering below 100°c. The pressurised environment is necessary in order to inhibit the denaturing of the water-soluble compounds. Once completed, the water extract is filtered from the powder and more water added for another decoction. In total, this process is carried out three separate times and finally combined.
Next, with the filtrate from the hot water extraction removed, the powder is macerated in ethanol and again, this process is repeated three times before completion. Once all alcohol-soluble compounds have been captured by the ethanol, the filtrate is once again separated from the mushroom material. The liquids (water and ethanol) are both precipitated from the extracts so that all of the nutrients and beneficial compounds are contained within the rich, concentrated solid substance that remains, with no water or alcohol residue whatsoever.
Next, this concentrate is transformed into a very fine, dry powder, which requires spray-freeze-drying. Low temperature drying is ideal because it preserves the structural integrity and potency of the extract. Once totally dry, the extract is again filtered through a very fine mesh sieve.
Before the extract is sealed in airtight containers ready for sale, a sample should be taken for testing; testing firstly to ensure there are no contaminants, and secondly for the presence of the biologically active compounds that should have been captured via the extraction procedures.Bio-active CompoundsTo verify the medicinal potency, Reishi Paragon has been third party lab tested for both of the primary groups of therapeutic compounds in this fungus - beta-D-glucans & triterpenoids. Currently more than 100 fungal polysaccharides have been isolated from the fruiting body, many of which are beta-D-glucans. These constituents are significantly responsible for the beneficial influence this mushroom has on immune cells such as macrophages, lymphocytes and cytokines.Likewise, more than 130 different triterpenoid compounds have been discovered within Reishi fruiting bodies, spores and mycelia, with over 140 triterpene subtypes as well, which include a large assortment of unique Ganoderic acids. Ok I love colostrum and the immune tree are brilliant for me ! I spend an awful lot on supplements but I always have my immune tree colostrum and it definitely improves my immune system , I suffer from Addison's ( major and total adrenal insufficiency) I don't produce any of my own cortisol and it's exhausting even with replacing with hydrocortisone as it's a fixed dose three times daily and not my body regulating the dose. However since I began to take colostrum every day I have indeed noticed some increase in stamina and definitely improved immunity. I'd highly recommend this colostrum to any one and everyone wanting that extra boost for the immune system.

I like to mix this and Elwins super greens . Best green drink on the market in my opinion! Love it , have it daily and feel amazing afterwards.
